結成25年を迎えたワクワクロックンロールバンド「ワタナベフラワー」のVo.クマガイタツロウとKey.ichiによる、歌と鍵盤のデュオ、CHONMAGE JAPAN。

「日本の歌の素晴らしさをもっと世界に発信したい！」との想いから2024年本格的に出陣。

結成から2年で、ベトナム・ホーチミンでのカフェツアー、インド・デリーで開催された「JAPAN EXPO in India」、ケニア・ナイロビで開催されたサブカルチャーフェス「Otamatsuri」、エジプト・カイロで開催された「Super Japan in Cairo」、さらには在エジプト日本国大使館での公演など、世界各地でさまざまな経験を積み上げてきた。

2026年夏には、ケニア・ナイロビで2度目となる「Otamatsuri」への出演を果たし、さらにエチオピアへと活動の場を広げ、「ETHIOTAKU EXPO 2026」に出演。

アフリカでの活動をさらに広げている。

海外で大人気のアニメソングのカバーから、海外経験をもとに作詞作曲されたオリジナル楽曲まで幅広く演奏し、歌とピアノと大和魂で世界と戦う。

CHONMAGE JAPAN is a Japanese vocal-and-keyboard duo featuring Uta Samurai Kumagai Tatsurou and Kenban Ninja Ichi. Driven by the desire to share the beauty of Japanese songs with the world, CHONMAGE JAPAN officially began its journey in 2024.

Within just two years, the duo has built an international performance career, including a café live tour in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; JAPAN EXPO in India in New Delhi; Otamatsuri in Nairobi, Kenya; Super Japan in Cairo, Egypt; and a special performance at the Embassy of Japan in Egypt.

In the summer of 2026, CHONMAGE JAPAN returned to Nairobi for their second appearance at Otamatsuri, before taking their journey further across Africa with a performance at ETHIOTAKU EXPO 2026 in Ethiopia.

Their repertoire ranges from internationally popular anime songs to original compositions inspired by their experiences around the world.

With vocals, piano, and the spirit of Japan, CHONMAGE JAPAN continues to take on the world.
